When Chef Jet set out to design his ultimate cookware, he made sure it was going to be the best. He started with a true tri-ply stainless steel pan which consists of three layers: an exterior of magnetic stainless steel, so it can be used on any range, even induction and a core of pure aluminum, which provides even heating not only across the bottom, but up the sides as well. The top layer of stainless steel, ingeniously layered with a nonstick surface. Most nonstick surfaces are comprised of layers of coatings placed on top of each other. But Chef Jet realized that they could get scratched and might not brown food as well as a pure metal surface. So, he came up with his hybrid coating. The surface is a combination of raised stainless steel designs (his logo, by the way) with nonstick in between. The result is the perfect balance between sear and release. Plus, it's metal utensil safe.
