When Chef Jet Tila designed his 12" Hybrid Ceramic Nonstick Stainless Steel Skillet, he started with a stainless steel pan constructed of three layers: an exterior of magnetic stainless steel (so it can be used on any stovetop); a core of pure aluminum, so it heats evenly across the bottom and up the sides; and topped off with stainless steel, with nonstick layered into it. The hybrid coated nonstick surface is a combination of raised stainless steel designs (Chef Jet's logo) with ceramic nonstick in between. The result is the perfect balance between sear and release as you cook. And it's metal utensil safe. And it's got a convenient riveted stainless steel helper handle, so it's easier to lift and maneuver.
